A Cause for Elevated Thought

The disaster and devastation of the past 30 days in the U.S Gulf coast region and the Carribean Islands area has been horrific and incalculable. Over 20 islands including the larger ones of Peurto Rico and Cuba have seen destruction on a scale far beyond belief. These storms have literally taken some of these people back to hunter-gatherer status. On the Mainland in the U.S. people are far better off, simply because they can move and get federal assistance where none other may be available. But, for many of the Islanders, the ones you don't see on the commercials, the ones born there and mainly service the hospitality industries that have been destroyed; these people have lost everything.

The International Elevated thought conference sees a cause for Elevated Thought. So, we invite any and everyone in the midwest or other unaffectd States to do whatever you can to help. If you are a carpenter, they can use you, an electrician, it is predicted that some islands will be without power for up to 6 months, Electricians are needed and other tradesmen as well. Heavy machine operators, sanitation specialist and health care workers are all needed. The fact of the matter is, that if the world, especially the U.S. doesn't reach out and assist these people, who did nothing wrong we will see the down sides of Katrina all over again and at an epidemic scale. Imagine every major city in the U.S. picking up an extra 20,000 homeless and hungry people. after all they have to go somewhere.

I was fortunate to be able to supply jobs and assist with housing in St. Louis for a few of the people I knew that had family that moved from New Orleans to St. Louis after Hurricaine Katrina destroyed their homes. But this time around I think that we all will have to think a little bigger to accomodate the volume of destruction and the volume our brothers and sisters left in the wake of this killer storm season. Please do what you can, whever you can. The need is great and will last for years to come, there is opportunity in this tale for many, so do what you can to help, it might be the best thing you ever do.

Elevate your thought and your life

As I begin to take the concept and philosophy of elevated thought beyond the written concept that was to motivate and encourage others to have a better life, my personal goals and motivations have grown as well. I mentioned in previous chapters that Elevated Thought takes you beyond the normal bounds of normal people, it is supposed to help you be bigger and leave a bigger footprint.

The first step in Elevated thought is thinking about more than yourself. Not just someone else like a father, mother, or a girlfriend, but maybe a category of people, like the sick or women with breast cancer, or starving children in a particular city. This train of thought can be a big or as broad as global warming or saving the whales, or as narrow as revitalizing a single neighborhood where you grew up.

Once these other people are being considered you begin to understand that even with your best individual efforts you may only be able to scratch the surface of a single problem. You may also realize, humbly, that you, with the greatest of your efforts may not be the complete answer, but it is still worth every amount of your efforts. These are the people I am seeking to surround myself with. It is a higher calling, self-sacrifice and modesty. But, there is a return. I think that the return is in the reward and experience in helping others. Even others who will never know your name, your face or the real work that you do. 

Every tree want to be an orchard. And in this process you will never be satisfied with just helping one. The act of assisting in the positive development of a community in any way becomes infectious.

Where We Are

This month is August of 2017, and it is the first month of the founding of The International Elevated Thought Conference. with minor notice and the web site being up only 1 day we already have 100 members. Our goal is 1 million members by January 1, 2018. Around this time we will be hosting our first international conference. The conference will be hosted in St. Louis, Missouri USA. The members will be divided into 8 councils that represent the 8 key areas of focus that we will engage. Why we are here

Below is  a sample of the problems that the world face, anyone of the problems would be a monumental challenge, yet there are people all over the world fighting these fights everyday. What we want to do is to become the preeminent clearing house for anyone who not only wants to address problems but actually fix them. We are gathering members at all levels, financial support, institutional and international governmental support as well. As we launch and go loud we will adopt a different approach with only one goal, Success!   Success on family problems, community issues, environmental issues, medical and technological solutions. This organization is not designed to create jobs for it's members, but if you are out there and would like to bring an issue that's close to your heart, please join and be heard.

The world as a whole currently faces several dramatic problems. Examples of these world problems include terrorism, desertification, overpopulation, deforestation, pollution, and world hunger. Of all these world problems the two that should currently be focused on are deforestation and pollution. Millions of acres of forests are chopped down by large lumber companies for the means of economic success. The world's air and water is constantly polluted by dangerous machinery emissions and factorial waste. Although these problems deteriorate the world's status there are several possible solutions to put an end to this steady devastation of our world. Awareness and management are the most important solutions to our problems. Deforestation currently occurs in numerous areas of the world. The lumber industry cuts down forests in South and Central America, Southeast Asia, and Africa. These large companies take the forests for granted and are not aware of the dangerous effects. Forests are cut down to make space for new dwellings or to make money from the trees cut down. There are several effects this has on the world. One effect is the destruction of wildlife ecosystems and the possible extinction of wildlife species. The destroying of acres of forest leaves no home for the several animals that live there and often they starve to death or die from human influence. We can do better.

Evolution of Elevated thought

Think of the brakes on a car, alone they have nothing to do with the Air Conditioning unit and how it functions. But, if you try driving without the brakes, soon you’ll realize that the brakes may have a detrimental effect on every system including the driver if that car can’t stop and hits a brick wall. In this example it is easy to see how malfunctioning brakes can cause a disaster, but the converse is also true. Functioning brake prevent disaster hundreds of times a day.

Combining a singular focus with that of a team management scenario may be what is necessary to accomplish the goal, or to take it to the next level. It is quite possible to select an objective and move aggressively on it for years, only to have it resolved generations down the line. This however, is a natural evolution of Elevated thought, and the more complex the problem the longer the solution may take. Meanwhile, you may solve hundreds of other related problems on the way, elevate your thinking and make each of your days’ worth wild.

Introduction To The International Elevated Thought Confrerence

Mission: The mission of the International Elevated Thought Conference is to gather individuals and organizations that can come together to address the current and future problems and endeavors of the communities of the world.  Our mission will address both large and small concerns that face the world today and in the future, and we will also work to actively build the world that we want to share with future generations. Our Goal is the creation of disruptive technologies that help people, families, communities and governments to simply be better, to solve the persistent problems that plague people where they live and assist those who can’t help themselves where-ever they may be.  

The Idea: Elevated thought is a state of conscience that allows individuals and groups to think forward to solve real problems, with the understanding that regardless of the diligence applied to the solutions of certain problems, they may not be realized in a single or even several generations. The Idea is to focus that far out and apply the Elevated thought required to achieve a successful result regardless of the effort, time or money require to serve humanity.
